Ian Turnbull, Client Services Director

Ian joined St Minver in September 2006 and heads up the Client Services team, responsible for account management and new player recruitment. Prior to joining, he worked as a strategist at a number of multi-national media agencies, including MindShare, ZenithOptimedia and Initiative. At MindShare Ian was responsible for the media planning and buying for Unilever’s homecare and frozen foods businesses with a budget in excess of £50m p.a. Ian has developed marketing plans for some of the world’s largest brands, including Lynx/Axe, Persil/Omo, Birds Eye & Wall’s ice cream.

Ian has also worked extensively on governmental marketing campaigns & the UK’s national lottery, planning campaigns for the launches of Lotto Extra, Thunderball, and a variety of scratchcard games.

In 2003 Ian was a founding partner of a boutique advertising agency, specialising in delivering creative marketing solutions to small and medium sized businesses.
